Who are we?
Who are we?
The Rechobot Christian
Center is a free church based on the evangelical profession of faith. We are an independent
christian work that doesn't belong to any specified denomination. Our services should be
accessible interdenominationally and for everyone. We define ourselves as
part of the world-wide church of Jesus Christ. Our services are determined on
the biblical message and a dynamic praise and whorship time. We believe that
Jesus Christ rose from the dead, still lives today and therefore you can come
to know Him. We experience that a personal relationship with Him is reality.
We are convinced of the fact that God still speaks with man today, that He
answers prayer, delivers mankind, heals and also sets free. (Hebr. 13.8)
" Jesus Christ is the same yesterday and today and for ever."
Mankind finds sense and direction for life in the relationship with Jesus
Christ. We believe that God has a
purpose for mankind and that He also has a plan for each individual person.
(Eph. 2.10) "For we are God's workmanship, created in Christ Jesus to do
good works, which God prepared in advance for us to do." Our goal is to
come to the knowledge of God's plan, to teach and encourage others to do the
same. We therefore do
missionary work and support other missions. We offer different services and
prayer meetings based on biblical teachings and prayer for personal needs, as
well as meetings in small groups, children - and youth work. The name Rechobot
(spacious place) should express that we want to create a space where mankind
can meet God. Mainly there should be a place where God can influence and do
what He wants. He is Lord. We want to honour Him and we do not want to limit
Him with our own conceptions. He is God and we want to
serve Him.
